Introduction
The script analyzes the folder of the “Lenovo Update Retriever” tool, then extracts and sorts drivers by model.
Script Configuration
INI files need modification:
- ExportLenovo.ini
Identifies where the LENOVO repository is located (TEXT_NOMTHINKVANTAGE value) and where they will be extracted (TEXT_NOMREPEXPORT value). - NameModele.ini (Optional)
Allows for a model conversion of 4 characters to the “Commercial” name.
Launching the Script
Run the following command line as an administrator in a DOS command:
cscript ExportLenovo.vbs
The utility will extract the drivers and generate an install.bat file for silent installation.
Here is an example of a generated install.bat file
Warn: The install.bat file will need to be cleaned up to only include the necessary components
