Managing Applications Larger Than 2 GB in SMA

If the zip file containing the sources of your application exceeds 2 GB, it cannot be attached directly from the QUEST web console.

Take, for example, Office 2013 with updates where the source files exceed the 2 GB size limit.

• Create a zip of the Office sources.
• Then copy the sources into the clientdrop share of the K1000 Appliance.

• Once the zip is copied to the clientdrop share, a menu is available to associate the zip with the application.

• The zip will be deleted from clientdrop once the association is complete.
