During a deployment, you can pre-configure the Windows 10 Start Menu.
- First : On a computer, manually configure the Start Menu. and export the start menu
Export-StartLayout -Path C:\Temp\LayoutModification.xml
- On new computers, you will need to copy the LayoutModification.xml file into C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\LayoutModification.xml
The file name is important.
If you configure LayoutModification.xml via GPO, the user will not be able to modify their Start Menu.
